This message is for the Benefits / Payroll / HR Community, so that you can begin to inform your employees about this valuable program. The Application Period for the Supplement Program will be Aug. 3 - 14. Over the next three weeks, please get the word out to your employees, so that those who may benefit from this program apply for the supplement.
You can find the latest Benefits Communiqué, "FY10 Medical Insurance Supplement Program" on the Benefit Administrators' Guide (BAG) Web site - www.colorado.gov/cs/Satellite/DPA-DHR/DHR/1226490294784.
There is much information in this Communiqué, due to the nature of this program. Please read all of it carefully.
Important items of note:
* The link on the main Benefits page to the Supplement Program page is not working correctly today (7/10), as there appears to be a technical glitch. We should have this corrected by tomorrow, 7/11. However, the information on the page is almost the same as what is in the Communiqué, what will be in the July HealthLine, and what is in the attached article. The Supplement Program page is just information and is not the Application System; the Application System will be available on Aug. 3.
* The link on the main Benefits page to the Annual Household Income Levels IS working.
* Starting the week of July 13, you can order posters that can help you announce this program. See the Communiqué for details on who to contact with your order and what information is needed (poster orders are not done through Employee Benefits).
* The July issue of HealthLine referenced will be posted next week, the week of July 13, around Wednesday. Watch for announcements. So that you can start to communicate to your employees, I am attaching an MS Word version of the Supplement Program article that will be in the issue. Use this information as you get the word out to your employees.
