Controllers and Fiscal Officers,

I just got off a conference call with OMB and a group of federal
agencies that made it clear that granular management of the potential
federal shutdown process is going to be on a federal agency by federal
agency basis and in many instances on grant by grant basis. In addition,
Danny Werfel, OMB Controller made it clear that future availability of
federal websites is uncertain in the event of a shutdown.  Therefore, I
recommend that you visit the following website and download to your
local network any and all federal agency contingency plans that apply to
your federal grant funding.

In addition, the call provided an email address where specific questions
can be submitted.  That email address is IGA at who.eop.gov.  Please be
mindful that there will likely be limited resources available to answer
queries submitted to this email address, therefore please check with
your individual grantor contact first and referred to the global
information sources that OMB has committed to provide.  I will forward
the address for the global information share if and when it becomes
available to me.
