ATTACHMENTS. This week's CCU email contains the following attachments:

1.       Notice from Brenda Lujan of the OCA regarding CMS (with its own
attachment).

2.       Guideline from the OSC/CCU regarding Signature Pages and
Contracts.

 

CMS FIELDS-Performance Standards Certification. Contracts subject to CMS
are required to have specified performance standards. The field in CMS
record entitled "Has this contract been Certified as including:
Performance Measures and Standards, Methods for Resolution, and Types of
Monitoring Processes?...addresses this requirement. It appears that the
Yes/No question contained in this field have often not been answered.
The OSC/CCU will require Agencies/Offices/IHEs to answer it before
approving contracts from this date forward. The contract administrator
is responsible for obtaining whatever information is needed from field
staff or others in order to provide the answer. We recommend use of the
OCA form entitled "Performance Measures and Standards Certification for
Original Contract", which is located on the OCA part of the OSC website
located at: 
http://www.colorado.gov/dpa/dfp/sco/contracts/Contract_Administration/We
bPages/Current_Processes_&_Forms.htm. 

 

Since this affirmation is statutorily required, a search should be made
in CMS to ensure that the question has been answered on all applicable
contracts.

 

PROCUREMENT TRAINING. The OSC in conjunction with other Central
Approvers is now offering Procurement Training, portions of which will
be tailored to specific Agency/Office needs. Training can be up to a
full day and will be held at the Agency/Office location or at our
offices if requested. In order to use time efficiently, we ask that
smaller Agencies/Offices/IHEs try to combine. Please contact Kevin to
schedule a date. Currently open dates are as follows:

1.       9/22/10

2.       11/9/10

 

WEBSITE - GUIDELINES HEADING. The CCU portion of the OSC website now has
a heading called GUIDELINES where Guidelines issued by the CCU (like
that attached to this week's email) can be found. Note that the Word
versions were sent as "Read Only"; the password protection only applies
to modifications. Those on the website are in PDF format.

 

WEBSITE - Interagency Model Agreement. By popular request, the IA model
has been updated to include a revision date.
