[CCIT] OSC Policies-MODIFICATIONS OF CONTRACTS - TOOLS AND FORMS

The above-referenced OSC Policy has been revised. 

 

Revisions to the Sample Amendment Form were made as follows:

 

1.       §2 to make the language the same as the new model contracts.

2.       §4 to add language allowing replacement of the Special Provisions when needed.

3.       §7 changing the wording concerning when the Amendment takes effect.

 

Revisions to the Assignment Instructions were made as follows: 

1.       §2 to discuss what happens when the Assignor no longer exists after assignment.

 

Revisions to the Sample Assignment Form were made as follows:

1.       §2 of the Sample Assignment Form to make the language the same as the new model contracts.

2.       §4 to add language allowing replacement of the Special Provisions when needed.

3.       §6 to cover the issue that has arisen when the Assignor no longer exists after assignment and to provide options to cover the situations where there (a) is or (b) is not an assignment agreement between the Assignor and Assignee.

4.       §7 changing the wording concerning when the Amendment takes effect.

5.       §11 simplifying the overly verbose former wording.

 

These changes are effective immediately (although you may continue to use the old versions for any Amendments or Assignments currently in process) and will be posted on the OSC website soon. A Word version is attached for your convenience.
